This class is for beginning guitar players with little to no prior experience. This course will emphasize the basics of reading musical notation, chord symbols, finger picking, strumming patters, and musical forms. Students will have multiple opportunities to perform in class for their peers during the semester. Evaluation is based on participation, attendance, and playing tests.
