This is an accelerated class focused on higher performing level readers and writers who are looking for a rigorous class to prepare for the demands of a college level reading and writing. This course includes: theme analysis, character analysis, claim analysis, research, rhetorical analysis, and drama analysis. An emphasis of author’s craft is also used in conjunction with the analysis of a variety of genres and mediums. Pre-advanced placement skills will be taught.
