AP Biology, a lab science, is an introductory college-level biology course. Students cultivate their understanding of biology through inquiry-based investigations as they explore the following topics: evolution, cellular processes—energy and communication, genetics, information transfer, ecology, and interactions. Students will prepare to take the AP This course also prepares students to take the AP exam given in May. To pass the exam (usually this is with a score of 3 or higher), students must be highly motivated and driven to excel in this challenging course.
