This course is designed to serve two purposes. One is to practice leadership skills in service to the school itself. This includes planning and running assemblies, spirit building activities, and other projects to instill school pride. The other purpose of the class is to teach leadership skills, which include communication skills, and steps to plan and run an effective meeting. The class is recommended for students involved in leadership roles such as club officers and any student interested in being involved in a leadership position. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the GHS DECA Chapter.
