Engineering
From launching space explorations to delivering safe, clean water to communities, engineers find solutions to pressing problems and turn their ideas into reality.
Each PLTW Engineering course engages students in interdisciplinary activities like working with a client to design a home, programming electronic devices or robotic arms, or exploring algae as a biofuel source.
PLTW courses empower students to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and perseverance.

Agriculture Science Pathway
Agriculture is the number one industry in the Yakima Valley and students at Grandview High School enrolled in Agriculture Education courses are given the opportunity to learn by putting tomorrow’s technology into practice today. While students study basic curriculum they explore employment opportunities and skills needed to become the next owners and business leaders in our agriculture community.
Skills and Technical
Program Objectives: The Automotive Technology program at Grandview High School is designed to help students learn about how to work on automobiles, how automobiles/engines work, and to build skills that could help a student get hired in the automotive field. The course is designed to help any student, regardless of his or her prior experience. Students will learn through a combination of in-class presentations and study as well as hands-on time in the shop.
Business Marketing
Start on your way to success through enrollment in the Business and Marketing program at Grandview High School. From personal skills to help you get ready for college to a practical on-the-job knowledge that will get you ready for employment in business and marketing , the Business and Marketing Department has many offerings that will ensure your success in the future. Not only can you gain the knowledge you need to be successful in high school and college, but you earn a certificate of proficiency the will put the key to employment in your hands.
Health Science Pathway
This pathway includes: PLTW Principles of BioMedical Science (9th Grade), PLTW Human Body Systems (10th grade) and Medical Interventions (11th grade). The final PLTW course, Biomedical Innovations, will be offered to 12th graders for the 2019-2020 school year.
