Note: GHS FCCLA membership is STRONGLY Encouraged
Food & Nutrition introduces students to how food affects life. This class will teach students about nutritional needs, healthy food choices, nutrition through the life cycle, safeguarding the family’s health and planning meals. Practical application of safety in food handling and cooking/baking techniques will be applied through various labs. FCCLA is the student leadership component integrated into this class.
