This survey course of engineering exposes students to major concepts they will encounter in post- secondary engineering course of study. They develop problem- solving skills and apply their knowledge of research in design to create solutions to various solutions, documenting their work in communicating solutions to peers, and members of the professional community. This course provides an overview of engineering technology. Students develop problem solving skills by tackling real world engineering problems. Through theory and practical hands on experiences, students address the emerging social and political consequences of technological change.
